Default Ink Cartridges

I could n't beleive the cost of buying Ink Catridges here in Spain.
I thought the price in the U.K. was bad enough.
I have found an Internet site based in the U.K but they deliver wordwide, and even with delivedry charges I could not believe the difference in price.
I have been supplied with Ink Cartridges that are compatible with my Epsom Printer.
Epsom pack of 4 = 62 euros. epsom compatiple multipack 6 euros.
Delivery works out about 20 euros but that is for up to a certain weight.
So if you buy a few items then it is even better value for money.
They do loads of various items dvd , memory cards, cables , batteries, paper & labels etc to much to mention.
I can vouch for the ink I have used it and the colour is as good as Epsom if not better.
If you would like the address email me and I will be happy to pass it on.
Regards

I can't remember what I used to pay in the UK, so I cant really compare, but I didnt think it was too bad here (well, for my printer anyway).

I have a Canon and I pay about 9 euros for Canon black ink and about 12 euros for colour. If it is a "compatible" brand then I pay about 2 euros for black and 4 for colour.

This is from a chain of shops called APP if anyone is interested.

When I bought my printer one of the things I looked at was the price of cartridges as I had noticed that with certain makes they were really expensive.. you can buy a cheap printer with the price of a single cartridge! :scared:

I bought a canon in the end and as someone already mentioned, the cartridges are really really cheap..

Their website is www.appinformatica.com. If you click on the tab "tiendas" and then click on your province, it should bring up a list of the shops in your area.

Don't go by any prices they list on their web, once you get inside the shop the seem to have completely different price structures and products!

The specific shop where I buy my cartridges is in Jerez.

Here on the Costa del Sol there are several companies that refill cartridges which seem to be a great buy when comparing price of a new to a refill.

However, is it just me that thinks that these dont last nearly as long as the originals or does anyone else feel the same?

You're not imagining it. I tried it once, but once and never again. They do run out really quickly. Perhaps a bit of a false economy.

I have an Epson R200 printer that uses 6 cartridges. The Epson price for a 6 pack is £66. I buy them from www.ukdvdr.co.uk for less than £5 for a full set.

Their postage to Spain is over £10 so I get them sent to friends in the UK who are coming out to Spain.

I have been using them for a couple of years with no problems and they seem to last just as long as an Epson cartridge.

I've been using http://svp.co.uk/ for consumables & the odd bit of hardware.
Buy a decent amount and with the postage it still works out better value than buying in Spain. Particularly for CDRW/DVD RW blanks, where you don't have to pay the Spanish surcharge.

I used to use them - no complaints at all, but http://www.ukdvdr.co.uk/ are very much cheaper and the products are just as good although their postage to Spain is more than Choice Stationery.

Even so the overall cost is still much less.
