Inem - Unemployment
Can anyone help me understand how the unemployment payment works here?
I first applied for unemployment Jan 07, was told I had 240 days due, since then have signed on twice (Jan/Feb 08 & 09), then had contracts of work for the rest of the year, received the money OK, but what I do not understand is why the time I worked in 07 and 08 is not counted. My unemployment will be paid until 19th March then runs out. I should restart work 1st April until 31st Dec and then need to sign on again, will they then count my work record for 07 and 08 and I will be due some more money? Very confused!!!
