Default Impuesto Extraordinario sobre el Patrimonio - wealth tax

I know this has been discussed many times before but I need clarification please.

Am I correct in my understanding that this tax has NOT yet been abolished? I believe that parliament has yet to agree to the suggestion - anyone know for certain?

In other words, we should all be aware that this tax may still hit us next year and be doing all we can to minimize it's effect (tax avoidance and not tax evasion).

If anyone has a link to the Spanish media, I would be very interested (not a British translation but the original article please).

No it has not yet been abolished - it has still to go through final agreement in parliament.

The taxmen are complaining about it as it will affect their current purge on the very wealthy who often hide their wealth offshore and evade the tax by not declaring it.

It's very current news.
