Default IKEA Seville

I remember seeing a thread that mentioned IKEA in a not very good way. We, however, actually like their stuff and are hoping to get our new home furnished from there in a couple of months. Does anyone know if they have the same stuff with the same item codes as in UK. We recently went to our local one, Wednesbury, and found all we need there. We collected item codes and would like to get the same things from Seville when we get there. Does anyone know if it's possible to pre-order from them, perhaps by email? We can get on to the website, but our Spanish needs a shot in the arm before we can make head or tail of it.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Hi sjrw,

This is the IKEA Seville online site here, and stock search here.

It's all in Spanish, but trying writing in the codes in the BUSCAR (search) box and see what it comes up with.

Best of luck,
Martha

No way of pre-ordering or ordering online yet tho there is talk of introducing this facility. You can check what is in stock and what isn't on the website to save a wasted journey. All of the product names are the same worldwide I think, don't know about codes. As with any IKEA, a weekday visit is advisable as opposed to a Saturday one !

And the Spanish ones don't always open every Sunday. We ended up buying nothing from IKEA at all. Look for the industrail estates and mooch around. The supermarkets like Carrefour, Eroski, Hipersol etc do excellent garden and other furniture at reasonable prices. Everyone kept saying IKEA had the cheapest beds etc, but we found superb quality locally at very reasonable prices, all delivered.

No codes are different, I helped a client just last week who had all the numbers from England. It was lucky she had the names etc as well. However prices are normally cheaper, but take care, sometimes very much more expensive. Shop on Wednesdays and get a free breakfast too. Cafe opens at nine, store at ten
