IKEA nearest to Ayamonte

Hi everyone
Our apartment on Los Colibries in Isla Canela is due to complete in the coming weeks.
Where is the nearest Ikea and do they have a quick turnaround on home deliveries?
Also does anybody know where the nearest muebles is with quick delivery as we are hoping to get the basics in while we are there for 9 days
Any tips & local knowledge would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
Christine

If you need white goods try Ferrer on the polígono as you enter Ayamonte from motorway. You may be able to get furniture from their stock too. They are usually very good on deliveries.

You could also try Muebles Martin. They have a huge warehouse at Villanueva.

Also check that Ikea in Portugal deliver to Spain

in Ayamonte you need to use the IKEA in Seville and it has an excellent delivery service. You can book a specific date for larger items and smaller items are delivered in next available delivery day for about €3. The IKEA in Seville is also cheaper than the Loule shop on certain items but if you’re driving Loule is closer. Ferrer is reliable and good for white goods too. Good luck with your new apartment. It’s a great part of Spain.

Thank you so much for the information, it’s exciting and worrying in equal measure when trying to source stuff while still in the UK. We just can’t wait to get there now 😃

Another good tip is Carrefour in Cartaya. An easy drive away. We basically ran around there with two trolleys and kitted out the apartment with all the basics .. from cutlery to shower curtain to towels etc. not high end but cheap and cheerful and we got many years out of those basic trolley loads! But as long as you have a bottle opener and a glass all will be fine!
