IKEA in Jerez?
 

I have read of plans for IKEA in Jerez, at Area Sur? Is this old news, false news, etc...?

I havent heard that but I did hear it was opening up in Malaga. But this hasnt happened yet....However, Habitat has just opened in Marbella, in La Canada Shopping Centre. They do deliveries and think you can order over the internet.

I read something about this in the Diario de Cadiz but it is very recent news (maybe only the last couple of weeks) and I think it was only the initial announcement. I don't think they've started building or anything yet.

I read it in the newspaper as well, however, it did say that it wouldn't be for a couple of years. I guess they have to build the new store and stock it. :zzz:

Another article I read today mentions the announcement only having been made on the 14th December. There will be 3 stores in Andalucia (Sevilla, Malaga(?), Jerez) when this store opens in 2008.
I mention this only in passing interest... :)

I didn't realise until the weekend, but apparently IKEA plan the Jerez store to be the biggest in the world, opened in time for Christmas 2008.

I'm afraid for me, any IKEA is one too many :(
