can anyone tell me if the new ikea has opened in valencia,near valencia city to be precise.i have tried to find more info with the local news and of the surrounding areas but without success ...many thanks

last time I was out at Pulianas they don't seem to have started the Granada warehouse either. The land is still sitting there growing weeds and the new dual carriageway completed as they requested.

on further investigation they have apparently purchased land near both Alicante & Valencia but so far done nothing with it

IIRC in the UK they had a rule of thumb of 250,000 population before considering building a site, but are also very strict on road access as there is no consideration to using smaller HGV's - one fit suits all.

mind you the Lidl in Atarfe is doing well - at the moment. A Lidl is being built on the opposite side of the roundabout.
saw it when the chauffeur took that way home from the club.
