There have been some gripes that a lot of us who live here do nothing but moan.

I reckon that you can love living somewhere, without thinking that it's perfect, and I'm sure I'm not the only one

so I thought we could have a thread just for moaning




I'll start with.....


I love living in Spain but..................

the tele drives me mad

why can't they even attempt to stick to their published schedules?

a couple of weeks ago we all wanted to watch a film which was scheduled to start on the hour

half an hour before that we were flicking through - to find that the film was just starting!!!

we're used to them being a few minutes out - usually late though

but half an hour early

that's ridiculous

The lack of profesionalism in pretty much everything.....if my management at work had invented the car we'd all be driving cars with wheels made from tarmac and on roads made out of rubber.

I don't like how the government have allowed the "illegal" homes to be demolished without compensation.....Big gripe...

....I wish my bilingual mother had taught me Spanish as a babe in arms rather than leave me floundering in adulthood.... not Spain's fault, of course, but mothers are fair game the world over

I love living in Spain but.................. I wish they would use the local shop across the road from me as a shop and not a social club. It can take half an hour to buy ONE THING!!!
