If I had a house that I wanted to sell, or "needed to sell" theres the big difference, I would drop untill It sold, and that might ean taking a hammering, but if needs must, so be it.

I went to see a house, about 950m asl, couple of acres of land with olive trees at 45degrees, has been on the market for €250k for over 3 years.
They "must" sell due to a medical problem requiring them to live at seal level.

so they sit there on their mountain, every month see a couple of interested buyers but the price stays the same.

perhaps they just can't drop as they paid too much for it 5 years ago :confused:

I mean, what's the point of saving for years when you could just load up on debt and just have it written off?
