How many cigarettes can I take back to UK per adult?

How many packs of tobacco?

How many cigars?

How many bottles of Spirits? :confused:

Oficially no limit, but if you have more than the above, they may ask you to prove they are all for personal use.

It really annoys me (although I dont smoke). There IS no limit ... this is the EU! But of course in reality thats not the case and in theory you must prove that the fags are for your own use.

I took 800 back for my sister that cost me €96. In the UK those cigs cost £200.00, which is mostly tax, and therein lies the answer as to why these "limits" exist.

I spoke to a Taxi driver yesterday who travels to Bilbao every few weeks for Fags and Alcohol, the weekend cruise is only £59.00 and he gets a weekend away and saves money on the drugs he would buy anyway.

I have to bring them back for my Mother as the savings are huge, nobody really checks unless your carrying a huge amount though.
