How to get fiber internet
Last summer, we noticed that they were installing fiber cabling on the outside of our building. The guy told us that fiber would be available soon. But we're not sure who to contact about it. Is it usually administered by Telefonica? Or are there several providers we can choose from? We have MasMovil for our cell phones and have seen that they have offers for fiber internet on their website. Maybe we should just contact them?
Thanks.

Around here there is a smaller company installing it - not Movistar.
So, I'm not really sure how you can find out without actually speaking to one of the engineers or ringing Movistar direct.

We have been told that we will be contacted when the installations are completed.

Re: How to get fiber internet
I have Movistar fibre optic system (Alicante) which I think is a very good service. I have 50MB (true speed) but it can go much higher (costs more of course) but I don't need it.
I am sure the providers will be canvassing for new customers as soon as installations are complete.
