how do you convert uk plates to spanish, and how much does it cost ?
ok, i´ve got a uk plated beetle, and i was wondering if it would be cheaper for me to convert it to spanish plates and insure it in spain, or get insurance for it on the uk plates, in spain ?

That is a very comprehensive website, and hence rather 'indigestible' .
If you have a medium-priced UK-reg car, a few years old,(eg a V-reg Focus) it will cost you in the region of 850Euros to make it 'street-legal' in Spain.

I paid less to insure my Focus on UK plates than I had to pay in UK.
Don't know how much on Spanish plates yet!
