Has anyone used the services of Decision Homebuyers for the sale of a property ? How did it go ?

They are a company that say they buy property. I have a half share in a retirement flat that is not selling, none are. We thought we would try this company but I am trying to solicit experiences.

I have had a look at their site and to be honest think they will try to sell you down, probably by 20-25% on your asking price.
they will buy the property and presumably wait for the right buyer at a high price.

There are a lot of these companies in the UK, they all advertise offering to buy your house, whatever it's condition. Obviously they pay well below the market value. Have you tried putting your property up for auction instead (you could put a reserve on it to ensure it wasn't sold below a certain price)?

We (I half share with my Brother) have considered just about all imaginable, but it's a retirement property so difficult. It has been on the market for three years and, while immaculate, redecorated and recarpeted new white goods etc. plenty viewings no offers. they have equity at the top of the housing chain but no funds. All it does is cost us money so we have decided to get rid, it never cost us anything so if we get something halfway realistic it's a bonus.
Since I posted, after much Giggiling I find this company perhaps not the best, lots of complaints.
