House exchanges Spain and UK
 

A lady approached me today to ask whether I knew people who did this and whether they found it a good experience or not so I am asking for responses. Also are there any internet sites that you would recommend that she looks at, does she have to join something in particular etc?

We have done it a couple of times. Exchanging our house in Boston with someone else's in Spain. We had a pretty good experience both times. There are a lot of home exchange websites out there. We used homeexchange.com

Thanks Eric, I told her to trawl through the internet as I have no idea so it is really helpful to be given a site that someone has used successfully, I will pass it on to her.

We've done it twice using Home Exchange 50plus - Home Swap Exclusively for Seniors
We had one really good exchange for two weeks so we arranged another exchange for two months with a different house , that one was not so good as the couple missed their grown up children and wanted to come back earlier ..
