Hotels close to Bilbao for morning ferry please?
 

Hi,

We are unexpectedly travelling to UK this Saturday from Bilbao and would appreciate any suggestions for hotels. We sail at 10.30am so would need to be in striking distance of the ferry terminal.

I'm booked into this one close to the motorway and the main route past Bilbao to the port.

This one is five minutes from the terminal via a quiet back road and in a nice area by the river

It has parking under the hotel, free wifi in the reception area
I stayed there before and enjoyed it and the old town behind it
It's next to the oldest Transporter bridge in Europe ... ask for a room overlooking the river

The Tudanca in Miranda - easy to find and easy reach of motorway and about 1 hour from Bilbao - We use it regularly when travelling from Valencia to the port at Bolbao or Santander. Only good if on your route though!

Hostal Iruna (with the cedilla on the n) in the former port of Santurzi - cheap, cheerful and comfortable. No parking though, we always just park on the front, there is usually room.
