hi all
tomorrow we drive down to Javea!! We live in Zurich and made the same journey in July. We are going to start early and want to get south of Barcelona and then stay overnight and complete the journey on Saturday.
Does anyone know a hotel on the AP-7 where we could stay?? Probably in the Tarragona area.

If you can come off the motorway, look at trivago and similar sites and just put tarragona and / or other places close to where you want to stay in the search boxes, there should be plenty when you come off the motorway as it is right by the coastal towns, sometimes I think they offer better value than the hotels on the motorways, I have never stayed in a motorway hotel so I don't know how they compare price wise.

I know you said South of Barcelona but in lieu of any better suggestions we've stayed at the Novotel near Girona airport. Right off the AP7 and has a bar/resto etc.

As above, we stopped in Girona but at the Ibis, perfect for one or 2 nights with a dog.( and the wife).
