Hi everyone
Quick question, that I,m sure has been asked before but here goes....
Do you need planning permission/licience for the erection of a hot-tub??

when we got ours we were told that you don't need planning permission, but it will depend on the type. As long as it's above ground you should be OK as it isn't plumbed in and can be classed as 'portable'.

Have you not heard that the latest way of using a hot tub is dry.....to save on towels etc.

No, we just filled ours by hosepipe when it needed it and for any topping up, and it used a plug and socket for the power suppply.

In theory YES, as it is an alteration, but I doubt anyone would ever fine people for not doing it. It's just the way the rules are written that causes the problems.

Hi there,

If you are looking for a Spa there are a number of outlets in Torrevieja located near the Casa store on the old Alicante road (N332) we looked at a real beauty in mundo spas opposite the new Dia store:thumbsup:

nMundoSpa in Torevieja would be a good bet, that's who we used, very helpful. You can find them om the internet.
