Horses with their front feet tied together!
Is it legal to do that in Spain?
I have seen it quite a lot and the horses are really struggling, if it is illegal then can someone point me in the right direction to report it.

I've never been able to find out definitively if hobbling is illegal or not. However, what you've described doesn't sound good so I'd suggest emailing SEPRONA

Oh SD - that is proper sick - surely it cant be legal - its cruel - im afraid id be going cutting the ropes - good job im not over there coz id probably be locked up by now

Lord knows how I will sleep tonight knowing those poor horses are in the condition they are in. We were thinking of going to the police and reporting them. Do you think that would do any good over here?

They're based in Andalucia but may be able to least give you a quick definitive answer if this practice is illegal or not.

You can live in a country and not agree with certain practices, most of us live(d) in the UK and didn't agree with a lot of what happens(ed) this doesn't mean one should stay quiet about it or do nothing about what you see just because it's considered "normal"
Not much would ever change if we just turned a blind eye and ignored stuff we consider to be wrong.
Just my opinion really..
