Question Horses at the Fairground today?

Does anyone know where we are likely to find the horses that are supposed to be 'at the fairgrounds' today please? They were also advertised to be there on Saturday too, but we drove past there during the afternoon and everything was very quiet, with no sign of horses, or anything else!

Are they kept in one of the marquees at the back?

Thanks in advance.
Sue

In the past I have seen horses kept at the open air venue on the left as you leave Ayamonte, just before what was the Red Cross place.

Hi Guys,

They are based further down away from the fairground.

Instead of turning right into town/fairground turn left on the Lepe road. Just past the petrol station on your left is a beautiful old yellow and white building you will find them in there.

Kind Regards.

Thank you Alice. Unfortunately, I misunderstood the Capitains Wench directions yesterday. I don't know where the old Red Cross used to be, and assumed the 'road out of Ayamonte' referred to, was on the way to Isla Canella. We couldn't see any horses on open ground, so turned round and followed the signs for parking for the fairground and went there. Walking down the rows of stalls and eating tents, we came across a few horse-drawn carriages and several people on horse-back, and assumed this was all part of the 'Horses at the Fairground'! Bit disappointed, but thought we may have been too early (4 pm). Still, we will now know for next year! doh!

Thank you once again, both of you.
