I wondered if anyone knew of anywhere nearby where I could go horse riding.

Also, are there any eexercise classes nearby? I am thinking of something like pilates but would be interested in other things. It would be helpful if the teacher spoke some English but not essential.

Thanks very much. I thought that there should be some horse riding in the Doñana national park but wasn't sure where to start.

There is someone who runs one to one Pilates classes in Ayamonte They are somewhere near the Physio in the Square behind the Adult Learning centre.

If anyone is interested I have found two walking groups in the area. They both mainly do the East Algarve but sometimes cross over the border too, a few people from CE already go. The striders go on Tuesdays and usually walk about 10 or 12 kms. They don't organise any walks between June and September because it is too hot. The strollers go out on Fridays and take things more leisurely. This usually includes lunch too. This group is going to continue throughout the summer. I have contact email addresses for both groups; if anyone is interested PM me and I will pass them on.

Thanks both. I have found the stables in Ayamonte. I understand that they charge €40 per month for which you can have one hour lesson per week. I haven't yet found out the cost of just one lesson or information about trekking.
