Hondon Fiestas and Cultural Days (summer 08)
Anyone in Hondon Valley or visiting this summer may wish to pick up a copy of the "XXIV Jornadas Culturals" leaflet that details (in English) the summer events, fiestas and fun to be had in the area - especially Hondon de las Nieves during July and August.
The leaflets can be seen at the Ayuntamiento (council offices) and many retail outlets in the area.
The Plaza is the place to be - This weekend's 'The World in Your Plaza' was a great success, especially as Spain also won the Euro Futbol.

Last night's Medieval Night/ Fireworks was great - You did miss a treat - the highlight of the Village Fiesta I think. Cannot describe it. It's fireworks but much more, loud, scarey, exciting, dangerous - a street theatre thing really. The young love it (so do the oldies too).
Do a search on You Tube for a video of the "Hondon Correfocs" or "Medieval Fiesta".
