Homes needed:Border Collie & German Shephard
 

We are returning to the Uk and have to rehome our two dogs.
This is a genuine advert and has not been put on here without thought.
The dogs are as follow;
Jessie is a Border Collie of about 4 years. She is a beautiful natured dog and very loving. She lives outside but comes inside in the evenings. During the real cold they slept indoors but are now back out in their kennels. She loves walks, she is fantastic with kids (raised with my 4 year old daughter and son) very intelligent and did basic agility in the Uk.
Nano is very good looking 2 year old male German shephard. He is still alot of puppy and is a big dog. He is an excellent guard dog as he looks the part and has a bark to match but once on the property he is as soft as anything!!!! Again very good with the kids, very quick to learn, basic obedience taught. We got him to guard the house and he does a good job, but he's a great pet at the same time. I will be honest with you he is not properly leash trained and this will need work if you want to take him out.
They are both microchipped and both spayed and upto date with their jabs and tick and flea etc.
I would love them to go together as they love each other so much but its more important that they find permanant homes.

Well, normally adverts are not allowed in the forums ... I take it you're not asking for money .... just to rehome?

Hi yes the dogs are free.

We can't take them back because we are leaving in four months and havent enough time to do the jabs etc. as they are not passported but the biggest reason is that we would then have to rehome them in the Uk as we will be going straight into my mother in laws house and then into rented & no dogs allowed.

Don't know your full situation, but if their jabs are up to date, could you not get the blood test done and then if they are not re-homed before you leave there are people that would look after them for a few months untill they are ok to travel. From what I've seen and heard recently they possibly would fare better for re homing in Uk than Spain. There are a lot of abandoned animals at the mo, :(

Even if they haven't completely done their 6 months they can go into quarantine boarding kennels in the UK which are nothing like quarantine was years ago. Then they could go in there whilst you are looking for something to rent that allows dogs. We are renting and are about to move into our second rented property and we have two dogs. There are quite a lot of people out there desperate to get their homes rented out at the minute so are allowing pets.

Just to let you know a fantastic home has been found for the dogs and they are going to go together. We are so happy.
