Hi there,

We going on holiday to Lanzerote in March, and we thinking of looking for a job while there.

Im a class 1 lorry driver in the UK. I went to Algrave last year and looked for jobs and wages were dire. just wanted to know if lanzerote is same.

also is there many jobs out there

Remember that Land so grotty is a small island, doubt there is that much call for HGV1, everything arrives by sea or air, and would suspect that much of the delivery is done by smaller vans etc, may be some from port to distribution centres, but they are all likely to be very close to port.

Mainland Spain has wages more dire than Portugal. Also beware a lot of firms expect you to work illegally so they can break even (profits don't exist).
There are some good firms, but in this climate, no one is moving jobs especially if it is good. If you have a steady job, then lucky you, wait until this recession passes (if you have that long to live)
