Re: Help with route from Valencia to Roscoff.
We have just returned from Javea to St Malo then back to the UK then to our home in France. We had two dogs but our three cats went by a specialist company and if you Google that you might find a rather posh organisation.
We stayed first night in the B & B hotel in Bayonne fine then Ibis in Caen not so good. If you pm me will give you our views after living in France for all of these years and the routes to take. Of course there are pet friendly cabins on Brittany from Santander and LD lines go from northern Spain to St Nazaire near Nantes. For those of you who are interesting it is pouring down with rain here. And the cost of living is huge but at least less oak as in taste in the wine. Commend the Rhone to everyone wine wise. best wishes and to those who helped enormously whilst we were in Spain a special thank you. |

Highly unusual a week into Nov. and no sign of the Gota Fria. I've stayed in B&B motels before and they were ok. I think the last one was beside the M'way in Bordeaux, but don't know the one in Bayonne. Is it near the M'way or close to the ex Etap now Ibis ? |
Re: Help with route from Valencia to Roscoff.
as you come down the motorway from San Sebastian take the jct 5 I think it is Rive Gauche for Bayonne first roundabout back on yourself under the bridge and then there is B and B and next door for eating Genets Hotel. Of course Genets entertain dogs and cats and last time I was there rats not the sort from the streets!
The b and b does not have a restaurant but Genets does and the breakfast in the Genets is better. But B and B better for animals. About 38 euros a night without food and drink and secure parking. Following morning two minutes from motorway. Take plenty of small change with you for around Bayonne lots of peage(s) and it drives you mad |
