Help Re Obtaining Clave
 

Hi I have been trying to register for a Clave. It gives the option of registering via electronic certificate. I have completed that part which was straight forward and I have recieved the certificate of registration and I also have the activation code numbers. When I try and activate the Clave it asks for NIE and support number from the TIE card so far so good and all accepted. It then asks for DOB in format DD/MM/YY but it is a pop up box calender that you have to select the DOB from and that fills it in with the format DD/MM/YYYY which it doesnt like and says incorrect DOB. I have tried it from the phone and a Chromebook the Chromebook does let you fill it in yourself rather than the drop down calender but still completes it with 4 digits for the year, so if you leave out the 19 it completes 0054.. After 3 or 4 attempts the system locks you out for 24 hours. I presume I need to get past the DOB page in order to enter the activation code and set a password in order to recieve a pin and log in using Clave. Has anyone completed this procedure and got any ideas re completing DOB in format they want?

Please ignore I have resolved the issue, it helps if you use your own NIE to obtain the pin rather than your wife's 🤣. It was actually very easy to obtain the Clave and it works fine. Handy to have a back up to Electronic Certificate just in case.

I suspect many of us can relate to that! Refreshing honesty and well done! Clave has always worked well for me and I couldn't see what you were doing wrong.
