Most Spanish towns, even small ones have a workshop specialising in starters / alternaters etc.
If as you say it's just a bit of endfloat a repair should be minimal.

Sorry Fred I should mentioned that was where we were checking it out, but it is a Delphi unit & now I guess about 10 years old (later models had Bosch)
