Help Please - Greetings card
Hi all, can anyone please help. I received the attached file from a friend in USA who is not very computer savvy.
It is, I believe, a greetings card for our anniversary produced using one of the 'Hallmark' card studios.
I could not upload it as an .hmk file so I changed the extension to .doc.
If anyone knows how to change it back into an .hmk format, open it and then save it in a format that I will be able to use I would be very grateful.
Unfortunately I doubt that the person who sent me it could do it.
Kindest regards
Steve

I don't think you will be able to open an HMK file if you don't have Hallmark Studio software installed on your own computer. Your friend should have converted it to a JPG or some other generic format before sending it to you.

I said that he was not good with computers..
Never mind, I am sure the sentiment was good and I don't want to hurt his feelings by suggesting these things to him.
AlexInBC in the lab suggested I download the demo version, but it was as useful as a chocolate fireguard.
C'est la vie! (is that esta la vida btw?)

Yes I know, or he should have made it an E card then at least it would be viewable as it would have come with cookies.
