Help please

Hi, I am staying in Benidorm at the movement and am looking to buy a inverter which converts from 240/220 to 12 volt. I have tried the shop opposite El raco campsite but no joy any ideas where I can pick one up.

I looked for one years ago, finally got it in the UK at Maplins. Not much use in Benidorm I know, but I remember bringing it over with me and God is/was it heavy! Worth it though, still going strong after about 10 years or more!

An inverter would work the other way round i.e. 12 volts DC to 220 volts AC.

A car battery charger available almost anywhere converts 220 AC to 12 volts DC

However if it is an inverter you require this link may help.

To convert mains to 12V DC you need a "transformer". What appliance do you want to use this for?

Take the appliance with you and ask for a transformer at any store displaying the Euronics sign. > Euronics la mayor cadena de tiendas de electrodomésticos de Europa

Re: Help please

You will need to check the TV specs to determine what current it requires. When you have that info it should be fairly simple to get a cheap power supply for the TV.

This is the sort of thing you need.
