Glynis is right - the road is painful at the moment - but Medina Sidonia will be very well connected when it is finished as the road to Vejer is pretty new and the newish dual carriageway from Jerez to Los Barrios passes close by. |

http://www.medinavillageresort.com/s..._andalucia.php There is also another golf proposal for the bottom of the hill on the Vejer road side - I haven't seen a lot of info on that one. Plus there are two housing developments halfway through - one "out the back" on the edge of town on the road towards Paterna and one in the poligono area which is effectively a new town built on the flank of the hill - when coming from Chic it is the bit to the LHS Its Sidonia by the way, not Sedonia. Peter at http://www.andaluzhomes.com/ is probably a good person to ask what is happening and get a feel for the market, I think he is involved in marketing property for the villageresort proposal. This is a useful site if you want to see the relative sizes and foreigner populations of towns across Andalucia http://www.juntadeandalucia.es/insti...adistica/sima/ |

Also what would a 30 year old male with 11 years insurance experience do for work? lol Help please Thanks this thread gives you an idea http://andalucia.com/forums/viewtopic-t8473.htm In Medina and the Luz, assuming you only have a basic level of Spanish, you are limited to running a B&B, working (or running) an estate agents or anything else you can do to milk the other expat community - many builders, plumbers etc. If you look at the back of the laluzmag.com or on mycadiz.biz you can see what a lot of the other Brits are up to. If your Spanish is very good then you might head for Cadiz or Jerez where there are more companies and professional desk-type jobs. I work remotely on the web, otherwise I'd be buggered. |
