Help to pay Barclaycards in Spain (Not Online)
I need help paying my Barclaycard in Spain ?
Maybe it is because I always try to pay the amount I owe, instead of the minimum payment.
I always send the statement at least 12 -14 days before it is due.
There has been lots of times where they said they have n't received on time.
I am getting angry at this, how can that be ?
Can you pay in any Spanish Bank , I know you could not in the past but maybe the regulations have relaxed,
Wishfully thinking.
Any advice appreciated !

Or has it closed?

Also they are reducing the Gib operation to only servicing the Super Rich ( not me )
Considering they were ( are until the end of the year ) the biggest bank here it is causing a lot of problems.
New businesses and new employees cannot get bank accounts

I believe that Barclays are still open in Javea (in the Arenal area) but I have not used it lately. The branch in Moraira is still extant as of last Saturday anyway.
However another problem for fulltimers here (and others non-UK): I have today received a letter telling me that Barclaycard will be closing the credit card accounts for those without a UK address. I have, of course, responded in strong terms, as I have been in Spain for 18 years full time with no problems. I am also a shareholder! Fortunately my accounts are clear but what a downturn in their status!
They must be worried that the Farage loons will win the argument!
