Help needed with Spanish address

Hi there,

I would appreciate it if somebody could help me with correctly formatting a Spanish address which I have received for delivery of an order. The order form is designed for UK addresses and, as such, the person making the order had to play around with the address, due to which I have got this:

Pintor Miro Mainou17 4A
LAS PALMAS
EC1A 1AA

(Obviously the last line is fake!)
How should I write the address on the envelope, line by line?

Thanks in advance,
Khairul

Re: Help needed with Spanish address

I'd put this:

Pintor Miro Mainou 17, 4A
xxxxx
LAS PALMAS

The xxxxx is a 5-digit spanish postcode, which unfortunately you don't seem to have. For Las Palmas it probably starts with 35

Edited to add, according to google maps it would be 35018

Pintor Miro Mainou 17, 4A
35018
LAS PALMAS

Actually, this has been discussed before and the concensus was (I seem to recall);

Pintor Miro Mainou 17, 4A
35018 Oliva
Valencia
SPAIN

Give or take the correct details - postal code on same line as town.

Re: Help needed with Spanish address

As long as you enter the top line & below the post code (then Spain of course) the post will arrive.

Looks good to me. Although I do not tend to do it I have been told that the name of the town should be in capitals........anyone know if this is correct.

Did you mention Oliva, Valencia as an example? Or as the proper address?

that's just a suggestion I think- assuming you have been given LAS PALMAS, then that is nowhere near Oliva

I believe this would be the full address you need

C/ Pintor MirĂ³ Mainou 17 4A
35018 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Las Palmas, CN
