HELP needed with flights ASAP!!!
 

Hi Guys,

I know you all have been brilliant to me in my short forum life, but I was wondering if you would be able to do me a favour, again.

I´m looking to get from Barcelona or Girona to Malaga this evening and I dont know...

A) Which airport to fly from, Barcelona or Girona?
B) The cost of the average flight?
C) Times? How long it takes etc.

All the sites seem to be in Spanish, so Im stuck, stuck, stuck.

Question A is the most impotant, lolol.

I´ve decided to go Malaga earlier than expected, so any flights tonight would be fantastico :D I´ll be online for an hours or so xxx

Page i have says they dont fly Gerona to Malaga, anyone any day!
Barcelona to Malaga says Clickair 16.25 arrives 17.55 €100 :eek:

A few more flights with Spanair all at €237 so better forget that.

The link is as above, tried to copy and paste the schedule but has come out as "gobly gook", looks like single 2nd class seat is €55.20, so not bad, leaves Barcelona 21.20, anyway have a look. If you do get the train it goes into the centre of Malaga, you can get a train to Fuengirola direct, they run every 30 minutes. You can also get same train from Malaga airport.

Not sure where you are, but for buses (Gerona or Barcelona (3 stations), try:

barcelona to malaga leaving, I think, 4pm arriving 0600hrs. not looked at the route. cost @160 euros return.

for flights, try:
http://www.clickair.com/view/default.aspx?lang=2
cheaper mid-week (from 34 euros one way)

or the train try:
http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/ingles.html
one way cost @57 euros
there is a train tonight @9pm, if I remember...

Thanks guys, thanks to you I made it to Barcelona, but not without drama. I´ll try to keep it brief as this keyboard has half the letters missing and its a challenge in itself.

Basically, I get the bus no probs from Lloret De mar. So we get to Barcelona Nord and i say to the two Spanish girls to my left, in my best Spanish, is this the last stop? No, no she says, 3 more. Mucho gracias I say.

One stop later, the driver pulls over and tells everyone to get off. Bugger. I say to the girl, what is happening and she shrugs her shoulders, speaks to the driver and says we have to get off. So the three of us get of and I say do you know where the train station is? and she asks me where I am going. I laugh and say "Mi? Malaga" knowing I am a long way from ´home´. She laughs and says mi malaga too. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: You just cant make this stuff up.

So I say, you want to share a taxi to the train station? She says ok but eventually we find the metro and I follow these two girls around like an idiot on 6 different trains and lots of asking where we are going. I said to them, "are you Spanish?" No no, from Bulgaria!!! Well, I did nearly laugh out loud. Im in Barcelona, a completely lost Welshman, following two bulgarian girls around, who Ive just found out also speak very little spanish and now Im carrying their bags. :D

Anyway, we made it, but apparently, the coach they wanted to take was actually going from Barcelona Nord, where we stopped 1 hour ago :rofl: I tell you something, "shit" is a universal word, i found out today.

Good news is, we are all booked on the 9.30pm train to Malaga which will arrive at 9am tomorrow morning. I dont know what they are saying, they dont know what I am saying. And now I am some random barcelona internet cafe. I do actually love my life at times.
