Help - Need nano SIM card advice
So I have a fantastic new phone - but it only takes a Nano size SIM card - does anyone know the best way to arrange this with Movistar?
Does it need to be ordered? How much? How long? Or do they have a machine (like when it was full size and cut to smaller last time) to cut to nano size.
Thanks

Go to the nearest Movistar shop and they will sort it out. There may be a small charge for a new card but it comes in one size that can easily be snapped down the Nano size.

I've had this problem before and it was done here and then. No charge either but don't know if that is the norm.

Depending on the format of your sim card they can be cut to nano size at most of the phone shops for a couple of euros. I had a couple cut down in a 'phone cover' shop in Torre del Mar.

OK, thanks for all replies - Movistar have spotted a good opportunity to make 14,50€ as they do not cut but will supply a nano sim card which can be done instantly in the shop. The benefit is you have a perfect card which fits, is brand new and the girl did all the setup etc.
So a bit of a scam but that's life with technology!

I'm surprised it needed cutting, all recent sims I see are multi size, you 'push' out the size sim you need from the larger sim.

My SIM card was very very old, it was cut by Movistar (for free!) about 5 years ago when I last changed phones to make it smaller and I had realized Nano existed until last Saturday.
Still a Movistar fan - see my earlier posts. My Movistar radio router is magic (no fibre optic in my village yet)

Completely off topic but well, its about little cards and big cards. I've got an old Fuji camera gathering dust in a drawer with an 8MB memory card in it. I recently added a new memory card a tablet computer, its half the physical size and has 128,000MB storage...ain't technology wonderful

Yes, it is! (When it works, you understand it, and it lasts more than 5 mins hahahaha)
OK bit more off-topic (I am allowed I started it) as new technology creates a mountain of old which nobody wants....I volunteer in a charity shop and we are getting mountains of old books - Encyclopedias, atlases, cooking books, etc (probably being cleared from deceased Granny's flat) which are totally unsaleable as nobody wants them at any price. And don't mention old videos, cassettes, and even DVDs....same story.
