The OP means they are buying a 3 bed property to rent out during the peak season (the whole property), and while that is rented out they will themselves be renting a second property, where they'll occupy a bedroom and have shared access to facilities (a flat share/house share)

My wife and I are planning to move over in early 2018 we will also be 50 next year and feel it's now time for us to start to live.
So basically best of luck with your move and I look forward to reading more of your posts in the future.
Can I ask why your planning to earn your rental income in Spain rather than in the UK?

Hi, I have just started looking at relocating to Spain and am working my way through the posts. This post made me laugh so much I was crying, I can't waited come and meet everyone!
