Watched Benidorm on ITV (with Johnny Vega et al) for the first time tonight... didn`t see the first series. Absolutely hilarious. It would put me off a package holiday though.. although I think I could manage a day trip.

Outside of July and August its a nice place to be if you keep away from the Brit quarter ;)

That programme does NOT do Benidorm any justice. You have to go there to appreciate it. Each to his own as they say. I found that there are bars you wouldn't go in (I wouldn't ;)) and some that are good :thumbsup: You just have to see for yourself. It takes all sorts and all sorts go to benidorm - there's something for everyone :)

I believe you. I went on the first package holiday in my life two years ago .. to Majorca. The Island was beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel was good but by the pool area it was just like the Tv programme and we stayed well away.. I could cope with that in small doses but not for a fortnight. :)

If more peeps on here took any notice of me - they too could lead a more enjoyable life!!
