Does anybody know what year/grade a 14 year old will be in school ?

A 14 year old will be in year 3 of ESO (unless they have repeated).

This is the year than my son is in (who's 14). My daughter (also 14) is in year 2 as she repeated one year.

yep, assuming the child was born in 1999, right now they'd be age-appropriate for 3Âº ESO

- & it's worth mentioning that it's the last but one year of compulsory education
