Help! :(
Hi Everyone,
I've just come down with a really bad UTI tonight and just wondered if anyone knew what time the doctors surgeries/medical centres open? I know there is one down the road from me in Conil but would love to know what time it opens so I can get myself down there ASAP.
Thanks

Ours, in Chiclana, opens around 8am. Get yourself down there early and you might get an emergency appointment straight away, before the rush.

missile´s post made me think. In Chiclana, La Longera is open for emergencies. It´s just over the VII Siglo bridge (blue bridge) turn right at the roundabout and it´s on the right hand side, opposite the entrance to the bull ring car park.

Re: Help! :(
Thank you so much for your replies, after being up until 5am with a high fever & very uncomfortable I managed to get some sleep and woke up feeling a lot better.
I think drinking lots of water has helped, hubby is making me stay in bed and watch TV all day so I continue getting better. Hoping I can keep away from the doctor for now, I'm only meant to take antibiotics as a last resort.
Thanks again

If you can get hold of cranberry juice, try drinking lots of that. It does good things and reduces the acidity stopping the stinging. I can't remember all the active ingredients stuff but it works.

Thanks, I've had them before so know all about the Cranberry, not sure if I can get any down here though, might check out the chemist and see what they have. Having second thought now and think I probably should see a doctor, a bit panicked by it though as I don't speak any Spanish, I have written down some important things in Spainsh though so hopefully that will help.

Re: Help! :(
When I first came to Spain I suffered terribly with UTI's. I now get Cranberry Ultra 3,500mg tablets from Healthy Direct in Jersey. One tablet every 2 days has kept me free (except for one late last year) of UTI's. Each bottle has 90 capsules so ordering 2 is just a year's supply and cost me, I think, about £12.00 including shipping. I don't know if I am allowed to give you their access details on here - but you can Google them - they are very friendly. Good luck.

I've been put straight on to anti-biotics due to passing blood last night so hopefully I've caught it in time. I will look into the cranberry capsules, although I love cranberry juice so might just stick with that.
