No arguments, cats coped very well and we had plenty of breaks. Horrendous journey though sleeping in the car and the weather was awful in France, strong winds and heavy rain.

Our place still isn't ready, the paperworks isn't completed and apparently the escrituras haven't even been applied for!!! So we were lied to when our selling agents (Medsea) told us we could come over. They are now ignoring us and so is our solicitor. We have engaged another solicitor to try to get our money back as the builders are now 7 months over contract so are in breach of contract. We have been looking at re-sales in the area and seen some nice properties. Waiting to hear back from our new solicitor. In rented accommodation at the moment on the urbanisation and have already made a few friends here.

Will tell you more when I know what is happening next, in limbo at the moment.

Hi Lionda,so nice to hear from you again,Im sorry to hear that it is still going to take some time for you to get the escrituras sorted out,you must be right P***ed off with the whole affair, and what a performance with the solicitor dont they just hack you off,I think some of them just expect money for nothing

Looking on the bright side Luv at least you are there and can keep a closer eye on things, and its good that you are making some friends ,this will all help to establish yourselves into your new life,It cant be easy to see your villa ready to move into and you cant,it would pee me off.but hey try to keep your chin up ,its a shame you didnt enjoy your drive down, had the weather been up to scratch its a really nice trip.
Well I really hope that things will sort themselves out for you soon, look after yourselves .Bye for now.........Keep my fingers crossed for you xxxx:thumbup:

So sorry to hear that you are having problems with your house. Hopefully your new solicitor will get on top of things and sort it all out for you.

Good luck with your new adventure of house hunting and who knows maybe you will find something even better than you were originally buying.
