Heatwave warning?

Anyone else heard the warnings of 40-plus temperatures on the way? One of the Malaga radio stations mentioned it yesterday then OH said it this morning after reappearing from a bar.... anyone anything more definite to report?

There is an orange warning out for Malaga today, particularly in Guadalhorce.

It will be the Terral wind blowing again.

It`s only 31c here today, but hot as hell, sweat was dripping off me hair and down me neck, possibly high humidity causing a heat increase.

& that's where the danger lies

dd just cycled to the supermarket for me - I should have checked the heat index before she went

34 degrees + 71% humidity = a heat index of 47.3:eek:

I saw several heat warnings on Spanish TV this morning. My thermometer is obviously busted, it shows 48 degrees and the pool one has gone off the scale.

Here in the Valencian region, it's been far hotter than last year already. We recorded 42.5 back in July and that's on a shaded patio! Today it's 39 at the moment but VERY very humid.

I was not contradicting you, more agreeing.:o
