As i havent been to Benidorm since this time last year, and unfortunately i'm not going this year, can someone let me know how thing are over there, not only in Benidorm but Spain in general.
As like everywhere, they have had their recession etc, but have things picked up or does it look likely that they will do.
I ask mainly because under our government, things like the state our country is in will obviously be handled differently to over there in spain, under a different regime etc, and i am just interested to know how things are.
Many thanks,
Baz

Well, unemployment is still about 20%, so as you can imagine, jobs are virtually non-existant. Virtually a quater of the country is on benefits and people are spending much less, so this is quite likely a bad time to start a business too. Also, even if there was a job opening, as a non-Spaniard your chances of getting a job are greatly reduced - they are far less into political correctness.
