You'll have to excuse SD, he lives in a parallel Madrid where everything smells of roses and the recession doesn't exist. |

An article from October 2013 ???? Are you trolling, or reading a fish and chip meal from a newspaper wrapper?

You only have to look at the first picture - taken just after a load of football fans had passed through. Totally misleading reporting.. And to prove it compare that picture... http://ep01.epimg.net/politica/image...cia_normal.jpg with one I took this morning - already filling up with guided tours and wedding parties at 11 in the morning!!! You're going to have to think of an ever better wheeze than your Easter Sunday morning picture to discredit that!!! http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CS7Gi4vu0G...plazamayor.jpg Oh, and seems to be starting to get tourists also in Santo Domingo - at 11 in the morning!!! Probably heaving by 2 - bad news for me means (yet again) the decent eating places will be difficult to get into.. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Nzw18S4maA...ntodomingo.jpg |

If you really disbelieve those pictures were taken this morning just half a hour ago, pop along to Plaza Mayor yourself today - I can guarantee it will be busy. Everyone who knows Madrid will be able to confirm that Saturday and Sunday are busy there. I really can't see why you're trying to deny this? as for agenda, you've already admitted being in correspondence with J2. Now what was that all about??? If YOU think I have an agenda - get some journalists to investigate me. I have nothing to hide. |
Re: Has it really got this bad in Madrid?
Strangely enough this video taken earlier this month, appears to show a very clean Plaza Mayor. Can't be the case, it was dirty one day last October!!!:unsure:

Re: Has it really got this bad in Madrid?
You are turning into a crazy paranoid. Why would you see a conspiracy in two people having a pm:blink:
When did I say I haven't stayed in Madrid:huh: how do you think I got my USA visa. Been to Madrid a few times but what has it to do with a newspaper article. I think you are pushing forum boundaries here:thumbdown::thumbdown: Oh and Valencia is cold in winter, look at the stats or ask you mate Graham Hunt whose website you keep pushing on here! |

As for "Valencia is cold in winter" - laughable, They may get the odd week or two of winter but I've been there in December and in March when the temperature was in the high 20s. Pushing Graham hunt's website  - seems that you refer to it more than I do  Out of the 1000s of links I've put here I may have included his once? twice? Perfectly glad not to link again if it really upsets you so much - but then you'd complain about other links whether it be TheCorner or theEconomist or theGuardian.. |
Re: Has it really got this bad in Madrid?
Tourist numbers are up in Madrid - well at least they were for the 3 months up to February. hope that continues.. :fingerscrossed:

Why are you posting on a thread concerning Madrid. Sorry, but a visit to get a USA visa hardly makes you an expert.
