Has any brits started using a beeday since moving out to Spain?

Just a bit of light entertainment question. But I was in the bathroom the other day and noticed the thing sat there- full of bottles of shampoo showergel, spare loo rolls etc! We don't really have them in the UK. So I was wondering if anyone here actually has taken the habit up of using them for their purpose? Or is yours sat gathering dust in the corners of your bathrooms too?

Absolutely. It is only hygienic to wash your feet daily

Thankfully, Google comes to the rescue for both of us:

I like the bit that says "While your first encounter with a bidet can be a little daunting..." :o

I prefer:

Be very careful when turning on the water, as many bidets can produce a very high jet of water with only a slight turn of the control

The consequences are just too horific to contemplate

What do you need a bidet for when you can stand on your head in the shower?

That link is a load of bidet, waterboard regulations banned jetted bidets long ago, for the fear of unclean water being drawn into the system in the bidet if somebody turned a tap on in the bathroom on the floor below, maybe to clean their teeth. yuk.

In Asia/Australia they have what are known to expats are "bum guns" that do a much better/effective job! :)

Bidets are poor in comparison when it comes to hygiene!
