So typical...... you choose a perfect piece of "Real Spain" in Costa Esuri only to be living next door to a family of Brits! What are the odds, eh? :p

Not seen anything about it - is it as bad as previous episodes or have they found it early and therefore dealing whith it appropriately?

Hope you do not have too many difficulties over it.

They have been really quick actually, suspected it on Thursday night, quarantined the farm the same day and by 8.40 pm tonight they announced it.

They are showing a 3 and 10 kilometre zone around the farm - does that mean anything in the 3 km will have to be put down.

Oh Matt, I pray that this is a confined episode and that it has been caught in time, it would be tragic if this was to be an outbreak on a larger scale.

Thanks Sam, I am just a small flock owner, I have friends who are full time farmers and they live off about £8000 a year, losing their stock will finish them.

Bloody Hell i dont know how they survive off that at the best of times never mind something like that happening - well its about time the government pulled their fingers out and started helping out our farmers as they do in other countries - that is a ridiculous amount to expect people to survive on i am really shocked by that.
Well good luck to them all and fingers crossed for them.
