Hand sewing.

Is there a kind lady or two, around town, that would be willing to help me figure out a few small ish projects please ? I am useless at working out what I need. I am used to crafts where you just do it :-) Out of my comfort zone :-)

If you haven't sorted it by next week when Maureen comes out (she is good at that sort of thing) we could look at it together and see what we can do between us.

Oh that sounds good to me, :thumbsup: I am not going away for the weekend now so am around. Will have a look at the second hand market over the water on Saturday weather permitting.

This is a bit off topic, but does anyone have a recommendation for a tailor for simple clothes alterations please? The lady above the market left a few years back.

Jon she still works. Both Kath and I have had trousers altered recently. She now works from home and it is not easy to find so I will show you where next time we meet up. She has increased her price slightly it is now €3.50 to shorten a pair of trousers after a personal fitting.

The fabric shop beside the ice cream parlour on C/ CERVANTES is bound to recommend a "modista" or "sastre" for any tailoring needs.
