Haggis

Does anyone know where I can buy a haggis (preferably free range) in the altea/benidorm are? My scottish wife is planning a Burns night supper. I'm not very keen on haggis but I enjoy the whisky!

Wouldn't swear to it, but I have a feeling I saw them in Hipercor - failing that have you got a British butcher or general shop nearby? They'd possibly be able to source it for you?
Good luck;)

Hi I have not seen free range nor other haggi for sale around here (Sevilla) I can recommend Grants tinned variety (sacrilege I know) you could check their website and see if enough time to post out.

Hi Petew, I see you live in Albir (same as me), check out Jackie Breslin (manager/owner) of Albir bowls club, he's very Scottish. He had a great burns night there a while back complete with all the trimmings, speeches etc. He would be more than happy to help you. Tuk-tuk.

I've just looked at their site and they want 8 pounds for a haggis "for 4 - 5 people", plus 38 pounds for delivery!

The Haggis is a funny Beast
To make it, strong men toil
But in cooking, it is delicate
NEVER should it boil.

See below there noooooooooo :rofl::rofl:

That appears the standard charge if you add another haggis and a few other things from the site the cost is still the same. Maybe another sweaty could split the postage with you if you add his order to yours.:thumbup: Or send to UK address and they can send onto you here in Spain at a fraction of that price.
