I think if it was for smallish amounts (under £4000 I think it is) I would be tempted to take out a county court summons, the service is free and any costs are charged to the defaulting party! Hit em twice, they can pay up before the court date or pay at court plus costs.
Either way you get your money and show them you won't be shoved about any longer |

Certainly agree with the view that the UK is a dog eat dog society no one seems to care about anyone or anything except money:(
Just out of curiosity does anyone know if theirs a minimum amount you have to be owed before you can take someone to the small claims court?:) |
