Britain’s Europe Minister David Lidington yesterday berated his Spanish counterpart after a Guardia Civil officer “fired a weapon” while chasing two local men on a jet ski in British Gibraltar territorial waters.

Mr Lidington cornered Íñigo Mendez de Vigo on the sidelines of an EU meeting in Luxembourg to protest in person and “in the strongest terms” over the incident on Sunday.

“I made clear that the discharge of a weapon in or near Gibraltar is completely unacceptable,” Mr Lidington said.

In a statement, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs “emphatically” denied any incident in Gibraltar waters.

The footage was released by the Royal Gibraltar Police just hours after Spain denied the shooting.

It clearly shows that this happened in Gibraltar waters.

and you will see a small discrepancy
and it is up to the BE owners/administrators as to whether they should allow a Catalunia section, in the same way as they would consider a Scottish section

I feel the people of Gibraltar should be allowed to decide for themselves whether or not they wish to be part of the Spain forum, because :
We in Catalunya will be deciding shortly whether to start our own forum so that we can get back our fair share of the advertising revenue we overwhelmingly attract to BE Spain.
