Groundwork/ digger driver/family and wedding photographer
How would my wife and I go about seeking employment in the costa del sol , we have 3 children and ready to upgrade house size here in Suffolk but we really would want to explore our options for our dream move before committing to further mortgage here. . If anyone has any idea if our professions are in any demand then please reply. Thanks

Sad to say that you don't have 'needed' skills for a move to Spain with any real hope of earning a living. Unemployment in Spain is much much higher than the UK and there are many thousands of Spanish groundwork/digger drivers out of work and a lot of photographers are not getting work. If you have money then move to Spain for a few months (including the cold and damp winter months) and see how you get on.

Got to say I think that is about right. Plus self-employed costs here are very high.

If you could turn your hand to painting and decorating, a bit of plumbing and tiling then Southern Spain could be for - I've been told that all the local builders are busy until at least October or November!
