Default Green gunk

I'm just about to jet wash my stone flagged patios, and paths -to remove the green stuff that accumulates between Oct & March.
When I've finished and they once again look lovely - is there a product I can apply that may stop the build up in future? I don't want a sealer that makes them always look wet, just something that stops/delays the algae growing?
TIA
LB

Bugger I've done it again!!!! Please feel free to move to the siesta time area, and SORRY!!!

Yeah about that. If its in a very shaded area a little stronger, and do it once a month or something.

A lot of nurseries use Jayes to sterilise soil before using it in pots.

Iirc Karcher do a specific liquid product to deal with it also as I used it years ago and it did a reasonable job

How about one of those weedkillers that are supposed to keep weeds down for a couple of years? Do they work on algae?

Now that I don't know.

There must be an equivalent for sure.

One of the many English supermarkets must sell it, I know there are probably very few near you but worth a try.

Beacuse ours is entirely paved I clean them with neat bleach, then hose away and then once dry a weka solution of bleach brushed into the surface. Only do this if you have no plant borders and any plants you have are in tubs and pots
