I only just bought it - but flicked through quickly, there are some photos..... but this is more of a 'chatty book' about Spanish food.. with recipes which dont seem to have photos.

But for 99p..... its not a huge loss if you dont like it.... perhaps?

Sounds interesting. Are the recipes grouped into the areas that they are from and are the ingredients in both languages or just English. I noticed it earlier but now never use cookery books but if it is full of information too I probably will buy it.

I havent read it at all - its a daily deal which I suspect expires today.

It is not recipe loaded, but a very chatty book about Spanish food, their markets etc with recipes, grouped into chapters eg Poultry, meat etc.

So I cant give any info, but for 99p I dont think its a problem if the book isnt as you like....

Try googling it - you may find feedback there from people who have read it or the Amazon feedback comments...

After posting to you I went onto Amazon and looked at it because earlier I only had time to acknowledge what was on offer but no time to look. Anyway they have provided a lot of samples of the book and she appears to have a good writing style and also there are good readers reviews. As you rightly said at 99 pence there is nothing to lose so I will now order it. Thanks for mentioning it on here because I had forgotten to go back to it and would have lost out.

Now comes the hard part, actually cooking it

I was watching BBC news this morning and there's a campaign to get more people cooking from scratch. I read somewhere we Brits are a nation with the one of the most quantity of food TV programmes, celebrity chefs and food books..... yet with the least actual home cooking usage! I can (sadly) put myself in that group, and will watch hours of Food TV for example.

Time to get my pinny on!
